Nécrologie de Sheila Lamontagne Kistemaker

C'est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Mme Sheila (née Fowler) Lamontagne-Kistemaker, qui a eu lieu le 28 mars 2018 à l'âge de 80 ans à l'Hôpital Notre-Dame de Hearst.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Linda Lamontagne de Thunder-Bay, Anita Cadotte (Bob) de Hearst, Angela Russell (Martin) de Emsdale, Victor Lamontagne (Luce) de Hearst, Lisa Lamontagne (George Veilleux) de Hearst et Kelly Lamontagne-Johnson (André) de Kingston. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses beaux-enfants: Wade Kressler, David Kistemaker, Sherry Bin, Bonnie Ethier et Pete Kistemaker. Ainsi que 23 petits-enfants et 15 arrière petits-enfants. Mme Sheila Lamontagne-Kistemaker laisse aussi dans le deuil ses frères et soeurs: Angela Leach, Jim Fowler, Gerry Fowler, Sharon Miller et Dolores Daoust.

Elle fut précédée dans la mort par son époux: Al Kistemaker, son fils: Léandre Lamontagne et Victor Sr Lamontagne.

Née le 9 août 1937 à Bishop's Falls à Terre-Neuve, Mme Sheila Lamontagne-Kistemaker est arrivée dans la région en 1949 à l'âge de 11ans. Politicienne et femme d'affaires, elle occupait le siège de conseillère municipale. Elle appartenait à quelques organisations comme le Co-Tem et Pro-Native Non-Profit Housing. Elle aimait la lecture, cuisiner et jardiner. Femme passionée des affaires politique. Une pionnière pour les droits des femmes et des enfants et qui s'engageait à aider les gens en besoin toute en étant innovatrice dans le monde des affaires. Une maman dévouée à l'unité et l'importance de la famille.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila (Née Fowler) Lamontagne-Kistemaker at the Notre Dame Hospital in Hearst on March 28th, 2018 at the age of 80. 

Surviving to mourn are her children: Linda Lamontagne of Thunder-Bay, Anita Cadotte (Bob) of Hearst, Angela Russell (Martin) of Emsdale, Victor Lamontagne (Luce) of Hearst, Lisa Lamontagne (George Veilleux) of Hearst et Kelly Lamontagne-Johnson (André) of Kingston. She also leaves in mourning her step-children: Wade Kressler, David Kistemaker, Sherry Bin, Bonnie Ethier and Pete Kistemaker. Along with 23 grand-children and 15 great grand-children. She is survived by brothers and sisters: Angela Leach, Jim Fowler, Gerry Fowler, Sharon Miller and Dolores Daoust.

Sheila was predeceased by her husband: Al Kistemaker, her son: Léandre Lamontagne and VictorSr Lamontagne.

Born on August 9th 1937 in Bishop's Falls in Newfoundland, she arrived to the area in 1949 at the age of 11 years old. Politician and a business woman, she occupied the seat of municipal counselor. She belogned to multiple organisations like Co-Tem and Pro-Native Non-Profit Housing. She enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening. Sheila was a passionate woman of political affairs. A pioneer for the rights of women, children and committed to helping people in need while being innovative in the business world. A mother devoted to the unity and importance of family.
